The stay at Riva was a highlight of my trip to Central America. From the moment we arrived we were greeted with kindness from Gabrielle. He showed us around and was the best host. We enjoyed the views, location and the communal atmosphere of the house. We enjoyed the interactions with other guests and loved the fresh breakfast every morning. I would recommend RIVA to anyone!

A beautiful eco hotel with a top notch staff and the best restaurant on the island! Wendy and Simon were fabulous! They arranged tours for us, showed us monkey and sloths and made us part of their family. We have been traveling for 3 months and this 8 day stay was the best so far because of the hospitality extended.

Hostal Hansi is in Bocas del Toro, 17 minutes' walk from El Istmito Beach. It is 50 meters from the docks. All rooms are private, some have a terrace, TV, air conditioning and hot water. It is centrally located. Easy to schedule diving, e-bikes and tours. The family and staff couldn't be sweeter.

Efficient check in and check out, nice location above the water with a great view, quiet and well-kept place, good breakfast. We felt it was great value for the price in Bocas. The owners are very welcoming and helpful, it was very much appreciated.

The eco-friendly B&B Dolphin Bay Hideaway features a wooden terrace with hammocks, plus garden and Dolphin Bay views. It is located on Cristobal Island, 20 minutes’ boat trip from Bocas del Toro. Had an amazing time here! Best place we stayed at during our trip in Panama and Costa Rica. We took a walk in their garden with Brian where he showed us sloths and frogs that have all the colors you can think of and he showed us the reforestation project they are doing there with a lot of passion. Great to see! Amy made sure we started and ended the day in the best way possible with an amazing breakfast and dinner. Almost forgot to mention their place is located in Dolphin bay. We grabbed a canoe one morning and within minutes ran into a school of dolphins that were swimming around and under our canoe. If you have the time, definitely go and stay here!

Bamboo Lodge, a property with a garden and a bar, is set in Bocas del Toro, 300 metres from Y Griega Beach, less than 1 km from Istmito, as well as 2.6 km from Paunch Beach. In one word: wow! It's a little jewel hidden under a huge bamboo tree! The place is incredible, the room very comfortable, and the whole team really friendly and attentive. The place is brand new, the rooms too and you can feel that the owners have put all their heart into the construction, every detail has been chosen with great taste. I'll be back without hesitation and I recommend it 200%!
