The location on Isla Carenero is perfect—offering both privacy and easy access to everything via boat taxi. The swimming opportunities right outside were fantastic! Our host, Ania, was incredibly caring and helpful, providing us with excellent recommendations for activities and restaurants. The breakfast was delightful, with everything we could wish for, and was served on a beautiful terrace right by the water. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience!

Hostal Hansi is in Bocas del Toro, 17 minutes' walk from El Istmito Beach. It is 50 meters from the docks. I had an unforgettable stay at this charming casita in Bocas del Toro. The view was absolutely breathtaking—waking up to the serene ocean and lush greenery was pure magic. The attention from the hosts was warm, thoughtful, and truly made us feel at home. The casita was beautifully designed and fully equipped with everything we needed, from a cozy kitchen to comfy beds and a peaceful outdoor space. It’s the perfect tropical escape, combining comfort, natural beauty, and genuine hospitality. I can’t wait to come back!

If I had known about them prior, I would have made different accommodations for most of the time in Bocas del Toro and stay with them. Nadia and Salvatore are excellent hosts. Our room had a comfortable bed, bath and outside patio with kitchen accessories and a small refrigerator means you can stay here for a number of days very comfortably. A sea level concrete deck outside offers guests sunbathing and access to the water for wading and swimming. A few steps away a covered patio stands along the coast line adjacent to the kitchen area where Breakfast and dinner can be served. The food prepared is very good-excellent! Prices good! I would return here in the future.

I'll be back without hesitation and I recommend it 200%!
