We loved the double balcony on either side of the apartment. We could be outside at the front or back, depending on the time of day, and avoid the sun. It was on the second floor so not suitable if you have mobility issues.

Great location, in the heart of the valley, and easy to find (from precise location picture sent by the host). Each room is on a separate floor, which makes for complete privacy and absolute quiet. Our room was on the top floor, and it is exactly like the pictures: wooden finish from top to bottom, with extremely comfortable mattress and linens, modern fully equipped bathroom, and great views. Last but not least, we got a superb reception from the hosts, from checkin to checkout, as well as a bountiful homemade breakfast served outdoors.

The hotel was very clean. The staff were pleasant but there was a language barrier. Breakfast consisted of an omelette a slice of cheese and some cucumber and tomatoes. They also had fresh bread and a croissant on the 2nd morning The bar area was pleasant enough and the locals were very friendly.

    Hands down the best thing about this guesthouse is the hosts! The family are so so so kind and always ready to help. Great location, we were in the main house and the rooms were spacious each with their own en suite. The dinner was also absolutely delicious, one of the best we had on the trail (you have never seen eight 25 year olds so excited about bean soup). Cannot recommend this place enough!

    We expected more of a mountain hut in this location, but the standard was up there with a good hotel. We stayed in one of the pods with an en-suite bathroom. The host family was very welcoming and kind and provided an excellent traditional dinner for a small fee. All in all a pleasant overnight stay while hiking the "Peaks of the Balkans".

    I made a last-minute booking and was pleasantly surprised by the experience. The deal was excellent, and the staff were incredibly kind and friendly. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, and the cleanliness was top-notch. The breakfast was delicious, adding to the overall enjoyment of my stay. Visiting Valbona for the first time, I couldn't have asked for a better location. I thoroughly enjoyed my time here and would highly recommend it.

    Perfect location for the hike to Valbone, the little house was basic but compleet and very clean, The restaurant was closed for diner because of a private party sk we ate in a place nearby. Breakfast was good. And the owners are super sweet. Definitely recommending!

    Ideal location in Albanese Alps, 25 minutes by road to the famous Fierze-Koman ferry pier. Local restaurants nearby. View on the main place and pedestrian main street but calm atmosphere.
