Only 5 km from downtown Bariloche and 15 km from Catedral ski centre, Monasterio offers a swimming pool nestled in the slopes of Otto Hill. There are panoramic views of the mountains and forests. Location was perfect to be with a rented car. Being close to Pioneros enabled us quick access to town, to the Nahuel Huapi and breweries and to Circuito Chico. Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast was not outstanding (I am picky with coffee) but included all you need (eggs, cereals, bread, ham, cheese, etc). If you want better coffee, Delirante coffee is round the corner.

With scenic views of Calafate´s mountains and lake, this hostel is a 7-minute walk from downtown Calafate. It features accommodation with floor heating, free Wi-Fi, communal kitchen and laundrette. Different common areas which were very good and overlooking the lake from afar. My dorm was quite far from the common area which was good cause it was quiet and I could sleep well at night. Hot shower that honestly was so far one of the best showers I have had during my travel in Latin America. When you open the window in the room you can see flowers and and some other nature which was nice. Staff was nice and helpful and spoke English. I booked few tours with them which were good (I recommend the tour to Estancia Cristina!).

Hosteria y Restaurante America is located in the heart of Ushuaia. This property offers comfortable rooms and free Wi-Fi access. Very nice hotel, very comfortable, clean with a nice view of the harbour. A bit out of the center but not that far as the city is very small. But it was very quiet and there is a parking lot which is very convenient if you have a car. Breakfast is excellent.

I would highly recommend everyone to stay here during their stay El Calafate!
