We know when a hotel is not up to expectations (and have walked out of a couple after just a few hours). This place was exceptional. I just reread the past comments - accept what all the good ones say at face value because they reflect our experience there. Irini was exceptional on the front desk and Elizabeth, who cleaned our room every day, was exceptional! When I read each negative review I wondered if they are referring to a different hotel. If those people were expecting a $500 a night experience they should have stayed in a $500 a night hotel - there are lots to choose from on the island. Having a rental car I found there was always a parking space to return to without having the negotiate the narrow streets of the inner town. My wife’s main criteria is a comfortable bed and a clean room and environment. Mohitero got 5/5 on both. We really enjoyed the gardens and the birds and the peace and quiet. We would have no hesitation returning. It was a nice place to come “home” to after a busy day. The pictures on Booking reflect what was saw while there.

It was beyond our expectations, beautiful installations, very clean rooms, fruit and water in the room was complimentary, the guy from the reception was great (we cant remember his name, but he was tall and blonde). The location is perfect, not far from the airport and really close to Fira which for us was much better than OIA/

Tastefully decorated, all rooms, studios and apartments come equipped with a mini fridge and an LCD TV with satellite channels. The private bathroom is fitted with a shower and free toiletries. Some accommodation types open out to a balcony and have a kitchenette to prepare a light meal. Everything was amazing. The room was spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated, and comfortable. They provided bottled water, toiletries, and separate towels for the pool. The pool area was also immaculate, it looked like a travel brochure picture every single day. They have a bar by the pool where you can buy drinks and food. It's very reasonably priced and was honestly better than the food and cocktails at very expensive restaurants: delicious and really well presented. It's a really short walk to central Fira and is even closer to a supermarket and a place to get good gyros (Golden Grill). Last but definitely not least, the staff we great! They were really helpful and attentive, but would also have a bit more of a friendly chat which made the vibe comfortable and friendly. I can't believe the quality of the stay we had, especially for the price... I'd expect to pay twice as much for that quality. I'm blown away by everything.

Offering rooms with a private balcony, Pension Ptolemeos is situated 20 metres from shops and bars in Fira and 200 metres from the Caldera. There is a large panoramic seating area and a rooftop terrace with views of the Aegean Sea. Loved my stay here. The owners were very sweet and accommodating, as well as the staff. My room was big and clean, also with direct access to the patio and the swimming pool. Would definitely recommend!

Antonia is within walking distance of the bus station connecting to the main Santorini attractions. The island’s airport is a 10-minute drive away. Free parking is available nearby. A short walk from Fira's main street and close to the bus station, this hotel is great for visiting on a budget and can really unlock your ability to visit Santorini. The rooms were recently refurnished and it really shows with how nice and clean it was. They offer tours which seem nice and reasonably priced, but we didn't take them since we had already done many of the items on the tour and had other plans already. It's family owned and we had a great chat with the owner's daughter who was running the reception who gave us a lot of good advice.

All air-conditioned rooms at Anatoli Hotel & Spa have a furnished balcony, most with views over the eastern part of the island and the Aegean Sea. Each unit is equipped with TV and fridge. Super friendly staff that goes above and beyond to accommodate and facilitate everything, we were able to rent a car, transfers, amazing restaurant recommendations and advice. The hotel is nice and super clean, breakfast is good. The room was clean and cozy.
