Had the most amazing weekend at DGG & can’t recommend this place enough. We have had the most amazing time with great facilities & staff. The Wardens Cindy & Stu were so welcoming, helpful & friendly that it really speaks volumes of this quiet, lovely site! We have found our new getaway retreat from the hustle & bustle of everyday life. See you real soon, Russ & Ema

Everything was amazing. Such a great place to stay. A very warm welcome of fresh home made cream tea, a loaf of fresh bread, plus Rhubarb gin and tonics. Wood set up in the burners so you're ready to go. And all the little added touches. Everything you need is there. The parking is good to have so close, and you walk by some amazing smelling flowers up the path as you enter. The seating in the garden was perfect to enjoy the fresh baked goods (and the g&t) while we waited for the hot tub to warm up. Which was simple to get going and was ready by the time we'd settled in, so we could spend the evening outside. Everything you need for it is to hand, and it was simple to keep warm once up to temperature. It was a very peaceful spot. Everything inside was well thought out, and had a very cosy, homely feel. The bed was a good size, and very very comfortable. Nice little sofa in there if you wanted to sit inside. Nice to have a table to sit at too, and handy extra table space. The electric hob was great to have, alongside the wood burner. Good to have fridge space too. Bathroom was compact but nicely done and had everything you'd need. Perfect little place for a relaxed break. The Poplars pub is a must, has amazing food and a great pint of beer, and only a 10min walk by the main road which has a footpath all the way, but there is a nicer walk off road which takes about 15-20min. We met one of the hosts, Anthony, who was super helpful and very friendly. They've thought of everything to make it perfect place to stay. Everything was great and highly recommended to anyone who wants a traditional hot tub break with a relaxed atmosphere in the garden, and cosy place to sleep and spend time inside.

Home from home atmosphere, private shower and toilet for yurt was very clean and well designed. Great cooking facilities and lots of linen provided. Beautiful surroundings, owners quick to respond to messages. Yurt holds heat very well, we never needed to light the fire. Good location for longleat safari Park. Several supermarkets available just a short drive away.

Stunning location, very magical at night with all the fairy lights etc. Loved seeing the pheasants and chickens in the morning and hearing the wildlife at night.
