Really great location for exploring Rutland Water. Emma was so lovely and welcoming. The place is very secure which was great as we had young children with us. We all thoroughly enjoyed it.

My second visit ! A beautiful location! The set up is to a high standard, with lovely touches & everything you could possibly need. Hot tub is perfect temperature, the pod is so well laid out & everything spotlessly clean! Perfect for a couples retreat, family break or girly get together! The owners were great in messaging us ahead of our visit to give us all the info & on hand to answer any questions. Would absolutely recommend!

    Absolutely beautiful setting. The shepherds hut was very clean, had great facilities, and the bed was very comfortable. We got to watch the sunset over the country side, it was like our own personal slice of heaven.

    The house has a huge beautiful garden, with different seating options, spread out across the grounds so that they can be enjoyed without being crowded. There is lots of wildlife to be observed especially first thing and at dusk (foxes, deer, all sorts of birds). The house looks out over miles of countryside. The four poster room was reasonably priced, very comfortable, and quiet. We had the best night’s sleep we’d had in a long time. The hosts were very welcoming and friendly and made it feel like a home from home.
