Náttúra Yurtel has mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking, set in Haukadalur, 4 km from Geysir. The yurt was fantastic. It was 10 times the value of a hotel or the like in the area. It was -15 outside and we were toasty in the yurt. The beds were the best I slept on in the country. The breakfast was good and checked all the boxes. I selfishly wanted more omelets/waffle hot bar options, but the breakfast was beyond good, and this was one of very few places that actually included breakfast with the hotel, so I will give their breakfast a 10/10 as well. Location was perfect too for both Aurora Viewing (we saw a massive aurora on 11/22/24) and we were right next to Geysir and waterfalls. We could see the glacier from the front porch. Very private yurts too! My pictures are of the aurora we saw from the front door of the Yurt. You can easily see them from these. I also included an indoor picture and one of the grounds.

Offering a garden and mountain view, Valhalla Yurts Odin is situated in Selfoss, 41 km from Thingvellir National Park and 42 km from Geysir. Rick is by far one of the best hosts. Our experience in the Yurts was incredible. At all times Rick was making sure everything was perfect for us. If you are concerned for the cold, don't be! That won't be an issue - our Yurt was very warm at all times. Also, if you have any concern over the shared bathroom, dismiss them! The bathroom is in perfect condition, very clean, well tempered (and with very hot water) and odorless. Finally, the breakfast is awesome! Various delicious breads, fruits, ground coffee and more! When coming to Iceland for sure we will be returning to the Yurts. Highly recommended, you won't regret it!

Located in Minni-Borg and only 41 km from Geysir, Hvítuborgir provides accommodation with mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking. It’s super cozy. You have all the amenities you will need. Enough warming equipment to keep the place warm. Kitchen amenities with dishwasher and microwave are so convenient. Hot tub was amazing! The bbq grill is a plus but mot able to use it due to weather. The property management were very responsive and supportive throughout our stay. Love that it’s isolated but few minutes drive to Selfoss. In spite of the stormy weather during our stay, we were given a window time to see the most beautiful Aurora Borealis display we have seen so far in Iceland. We also got a special Christmas present from the property… a big chocolate Christmas tree with treats inside (see photo)!!! Thank you so much!

The most unique and wonderful stay that we had in Iceland! We stayed for 1 night and had real luck that it was available. The yurt is mega cozy, romantic, warm and comfortable. It has everything you might need (contrary to one might think when you see a "tent"). The hosts live nearby and are so welcoming and kind, we're ever so grateful. An absolute must-visit for couples!

Set in Selfoss and only 23 km from Thingvellir National Park, Golden Circle Domes - Lake View offers accommodation with lake views, free WiFi and free private parking. fantastic location comfort, warm cozy. well worth the extra, sat with glass of wine, log fire a d the cold howling wind outside, perfect. we explored a lot of southern Iceland from here. we loved these Domes and would use them again.
