Loved our stay at Dana Sunset Eco camp. Saif is a fantastic host, made us feel very welcome and provided us with good advice on how to make the most of our time in the area around Dana. The dinner and breakfast were both filling and delicious. While Dana can be cold, we were provided with plenty of blankets to stay warm. A highlight of our trip to Jordan was watching the sunset at a viewpoint just 5 minutes walk from the camp. Highly recommend and would stay again.

Loved the views and access to hiking around and exploring. Very friendly staff and accommodating to our wishes. The staff played games with our 6-yr old son which made him so happy. They have a great spot for watching the sunset and the lounge area is a fun place to relax. It was perfect for our stay while visiting Petra.

It’s located at the top of a hill with absolutely stunning views - you can see all the way to the Dead Sea! We visited in July and we’re worried about the heat, but the altitude kept it cool and comfy - we wore our sweaters in the evening, in fact. It’s only a very short walk to the entrance of Dana Reserve, where you can catch a free shuttle to some hiking trails. Or the camp can arrange a guide for you to explore trails deeper in the park! The staff was so generous and kind and helpful. The food was absolutely delicious (and they accommodated for us as vegetarians no problem), and the tea and fruit and water coming throughout the day. There were plenty of comfy places to sit and read throughout the camp, or to connect to the surprisingly strong wifi. Everything was very clean. In short, very much recommended!

But Hala is more than just a simple driver: she's a true son of the desert, the keeper of its secrets and wonders, known only to those born and raised in this land. He took us on a tour in his jeep through breathtaking landscapes and hidden corners of paradise, making us fall in love with the majesty of Wadi Rum. He's also a skilled photographer! In the evening, the camp welcomed us with an authentic and delicious dinner. Afterwards, we sat around the fire, and Hala's stories and humorous tales created an atmosphere of relaxation and comfort. The jeep tour and the night spent under the stars, surrounded by the magical silence of Wadi Rum, are worth the entire trip alone.
