This is a rare Alaskan kayak glamping experience, one that any true adventure traveler who likes some comforts (ie, bed, hot shower, heater) will want to add to their bucket list. I absolutely loved the freedom to hike and/or sea kayak at your leisure! The raw, wild scenery of this natural gem is absolutely EPIC! Kayaking along side a sea lion is a pretty incredible experience too, you should give it a whirl! Final note: 2 nights seemed to be the perfect length of stay as it allowed enough time to experience all the available hiking trails and also kayak out to all the local destinations near Shearwater Cove without it feeling extremely rushed. Trying to do it all in a one night stay, would be a lot IMHO.
