IndiaThere is no better place to stay in Leh. The views are the best in the city, and the service and friendliness of the Indus River Camp was beyond anything we could have expected. It's the best Indian food we had during my friend's visit to the country, and all freshly made with seasonal ingredients. The activities were fun and the rooms perfect in size and facilities. If you want a peaceful place to enjoy the Himalayas, you just have to go here. Mary, Nico and the whole team made us feel so welcome, we will definitely come back.

I booked 1 night and finally stayed 1 week. Peacefull and quiet place to rest and take time, great location closed to the monastery and the stupa. City center 10min max walking distance. Personal and owner really kind and helpfull. Room was confortable and very clean and equiped with a wonderful blanket for a really nice sleep. In the best spot away from the noise of the Main Bazaar area. Rooms were massive with beautiful views, very clean. Dinner handmade by the owners was delicious (had veg momos one nights and thali the next night, r.250 each night ). Breakfast is the traditional Ladakhi breakfast of Khambir with jam & butter, omelette and masala chai (r.200, bargain!). And the food keeps coming until you're full!
