We had an absolutely amazing time at Popochos. The location is just 10min outside of Nuquí but it feels like you are in a remote nature paradise. The beach in front of the cabañas is several kilometers long and you barely see any other people there. The cabaña was very clean and the bed was the most comfortable one in our trip through Colombia so far. The food is tasty, the fruits organic from their own garden and we absolutely loved the free coffee and water. The tours we took were amazing and we even went fishing with Hugo and caught so many fish. We can recommend staying at popochos and we will definitely come back. But what really was outstanding was Hugo and Neila and their family. They were so kind and went above and beyond to assure that we would have a good time. They even organized a surf board for us! We honestly didn’t want to leave and felt like we had made new friends.

Room is perfect for this rustic location, and everyone in town knows Señoras Amelia and Josefina and they know everyone, so you are perfectly connected to the area even though it's about a 10min tuktuk ride from town. Food is of course amazing as well.

Owner lady speaks little bit english and is helpful. Best restaurant in Sapzurro is Chilapa Way! Really good service and affordable delicious food.
