It was a real adventure in the sands! We stayed in an amazing house in the heart of the desert - clean, cozy, cool thanks to the air conditioning, and around there is silence and endless dunes. Everything here is done with soul. The owner is an incredibly kind and attentive person, as is his entire team. We were greeted like old friends. Breakfasts and dinners are a separate story. Each meal was like a small holiday: aromatic dishes, a wide choice and amazing taste! Unexpectedly for the desert - but here the cuisine is at the level of the best restaurants. And also activities: riding on the dunes, sunset walks, stars above your head, as if from another reality. This place gives not just comfort, but emotions and memories for a lifetime. Thank you for this magic in the desert!

Most beautiful stay in this desert resort. Everything was excellent. The room the food the people. Definitly recommend! The star gazing session was memorable.

The camp is quite close from the city, which makes it easily accessible with 4WD car, while still being far enough to feel the desert vibe. The tents are comfortable and clean. Food was great (we had diner and breakfast). I also recommend going for dune bashing with sunset. All in all, good value for money 🙂

The camp is located about 25km inside the desert and you can get there either by organizing the transfer directly with the structure or by a self-drive ride having fun among the dunes. Once you arrive, Sadek and Farhad will make you feel at home immediately by welcoming you with dates and Omani coffee and tea. Once at the camp you have a wide choice of activities to do, such as sandboarding, a camel ride at sunset, taking your car and going even further into the desert ... Or simply relaxing on the dunes going into the desert just 5/10 minutes walk from the camp. For dinner a banquet, perfectly cooked by Sadek and Farhad, awaits you. And at the end the day a bonfire awaits you under the starry sky that you can enjoy in the full silence of the desert. The campsite hosts very few people, which will allow you to fully enjoy the experience, pampered in every way… In our case, was even more special because there were no other guests!😜 Thank you very much Sadek and Farhad for making our stay unique!💚

A recently renovated campground, Silent Dunes Camp offers accommodation in Ḩawīyah. The property has mountain views. There is a restaurant serving Asian cuisine, and free private parking is available.... Excellent location! Value for money.

Huge tent, very big and comfortable beds, Very clean. The staff is amazing. Very tasty food. The chef was super nice, he also cooked pasta, and it was really good (and I am Italian, I know what I am talking about 😁). The tour are well organised. We really recommend this camp.
