Apartments were in tiptop condition like new or very recently fully refurbished. Had everything we needed. Loved the warm towel radiator and large soft white bath towels.

Well equipped, cozy, and quiet. It's close enough to town, most walking tracks, the railway station and shops. We admired the sunset over the mountains from the balcony.

I love that I had the cabin all to myself. Even though it was in the host’s backyard, you get complete privacy. It felt like a home and made my stay a lot more enjoyable. The bed is sooo comfy!!! Absolutely perfect way to end a day of hiking. And the shower is very spacious!! The cabin is equipped with all the snacks and amenities that you could possibly need. Bonus point: I love that they provided robes and slippers — it made my stay feel very homely. Overall, it was such a pleasant stay. The hosts were very friendly and welcoming. I would definitely stay here the next time I come back to Aviemore.

All cabins in Aviemore

Looking for a cabin?

For the active travellers, a chalet is a great mix of the outdoors and the snug inside. Usually fully furnished and self-catered, chalets are typically wooden and in the Alpine region of Europe, but can also be found elsewhere in the world. Characterised by their sloped roofs, chalets can be single units or separate apartments, and are ideal for skiing holidays.

I have been coming to the High Range since school Ski trips in the 1980s. It is a perfect wee place for touring stopping in the motel and longer trips staying in the self catering chalets.

I liked the wooden chalets there was plenty of room in them and that we could take our dog with us. The chalets were spaced out nicely and we were not far from the amenities and the town centre there were also lovely walks in the area We would go back again

we loved the style of our chalet. was like a cabin in the woods. a lot of reviews said how dated they were etc but we didn’t think they were overly dated and actually liked the old style. beds were nice and comfortable and the rooms had everything you need like washing up liquid, kitchen roll etc. check in was nice and easy. reception staff nice and friendly. if I ever came back to aviemore I would book back in here
