United KingdomAll of it! The location was great for me. I like to be close enough to things so that they’re easy enough to access, but not too close that I feel too crowded.
The accommodation was very nicely done and set out. There’s still bits being finished off, but nothing that caused any issues or discomfort during our stay. And the host was an absolute delight!

Food was great in the bistro. Cabin was clean and comfortable and was done to a high standard. Recycling was encouraged. I think it was included in our price. We were told to go to the local cafe which was actually shut on the Sunday. The rooms were absolutely filthy. My daughters bathroom had mould all over the front of the sink and growing off the light fittings. Her shower was a disgrace. Our bathroom had mould on the shower hose. The hut and location is absolutely stunning with a very high spec. Everything has been thought. Beautiful flowers, cake and Prosecco awaited us. The hut also smelt wonderful. It was so lovely to get away from the hustle and bustle, just the two of us. The location itself was beautiful, it was so lovely to see green grass and trees from every window. The shepherd’s hut was clean and had everything we needed. The bed was super comfy! Our host was so lovely and welcoming and even brought us a bottle of wine when she found out it was our wedding night… such a lovely touch! We had a great night and morning at the hut and were so sad we didnt get to enjoy it on a lazy day in (which is why we are returning). John and Fran were very warm, attentive and accommodating, we really appreciated their kindness! Loved that we had a patio and a covered porch to relax in and a barbeque too.
