Fab location and for 2 people the cabin is perfect. Everything is so well done and has all you need, including the ever vital corkscrew!! Lovely view back over the city from the decking, in such a peaceful setting. We slept so well and the shower was great! Ali & Kaya were ever so helpful and very prompt with answering questions. They even arranged a Taxi for us to the City. Taxi just over a tenner each way so great for going out for a wee drink! We had a wonderful experience in the short time we were there and would love to return.

Great location (just outside of the city) and a lovely little cabin. Sound proof (it’s near the road but you can’t hear it at all), lovely decor and comfy bed. Also a great shower, and the kitchen even has a mini freezer. Also a few basics such as oil, salt/pepper, and cleaning bits which is a nice touch. Comes with a parking space outside and even a little bakery cupboard and honesty box just outside (we didn’t try anything but there was a regular stream of customers!). There is an outdoor space and a lovely view from the apartment. The hosts were very helpful and the keys are easily accessible for out of hours arrival.

The property is dated but saying that, it’s clean, tidy, warm and comfortable. The kitchen is modern and has everything you need for either doing snacks or a meal. Great shower. Bed was comfortable. You will feel your staying in a cabin in a wood, so very quiet. Great location for starting the NC500. Tracey and Stuart are really friendly hosts.

First, I should apologise for not completing this review over a month ago. Life gets in the way@ We had spent over a week, travelling the NC500 route. This was our last stopover before going home. It didn't disappoint. Another apology, I've forgotten the host lady's name but she was very welcoming, explained all the remarkable facilities very well, offered recommended places to eat in Dingwall, and provided items to use for our breakfast. We had stayed in some very good places on our trip, but this was close to the best....great value, lovely old building and garden, chickens, a goose; but what swayed it were the cats and kittens ...how my three grown up "kids" didn't smuggle one out i don't know. We hope to be back, not in the same group, but with partners, in the not too distant future ! Thank you. 🙂

Liz was a fantastic host during our time at the bungalow. She provided milk, eggs from her hens and delicious bread upon arrival. She also provided many brilliant recommendations on places to visit and restaurants to eat. The bungalow was great itself - comfy and plenty of utensils and pans which was useful for when making food. The beds were comfy and it was super easy to park in front of the bungalow.

All cabins in Inverness

Looking for a cabin?

For the active travellers, a chalet is a great mix of the outdoors and the snug inside. Usually fully furnished and self-catered, chalets are typically wooden and in the Alpine region of Europe, but can also be found elsewhere in the world. Characterised by their sloped roofs, chalets can be single units or separate apartments, and are ideal for skiing holidays.

Gorgeous little cabin in a wonderful location. Such lovely views from inside and outside .luckily it was sunny when we were there so could have beers overlooking the town and woods. Good walks around too. Lots of things to cook with such as oil, condiments etc. Shame we only stayed one night.

Glenview was an excellent base for exploring the vast Loch Ness area. It is located in such beautiful surroundings, it doesn’t matter which direction you take, you will find gems & breathtaking scenery. Also very close to Inverness city, where we found lovely shops, restaurants & trad music in bars. Our Chalet was comfortable and had everything we needed. Chris was also very helpful. Would definitely recommend & will be on our list for a return visit.

This cabin had everything you could need, beautifully presented and well thought out. The views were lovely, even with grey cloudy weather. The hot tub was AMAZING, could’ve spent all day in there! We didn’t feel like we were being looked at by the other cabins or the hosts house. We loved our stay here and will definitely be coming back.

Staff were all lovely and happy to help/give advice on walking routes for things we wanted to see. Also the room had blinds, then wooden shutters AND curtains so you could make it absolutely pitch black - an unexpected perk after driving 10 hours and needing a nap in the middle of the day on arrival
