It was nothing like I thought it would be. Isolation was there in abundance, but I struggled to get into bed with my bad legs. 👎 Why was there no television, and the shower only did one person, then was freezing..

We’re just back from The Black Cabin and WOW, what a perfect couples getaway! We had some much needed, long awaited child-free time and thought we’d do something special. We traveled over 3 hours for a night here and it certainly did not disappoint. The cabin was absolutely stunning and so luxurious. Bed was very comfy. The whole place just felt so cosy. We would genuinely spend days here without even leaving the cabin. It had everything we needed and more. The hot tub was just incredible with the best views you could imagine. The robes and slippers were a lovely little bonus too. We can’t wait to go back and spend longer than a night.

Walking distance to town (15 mins to ferry terminal), nice and clean inside, parking immediately outside, excellent and speedy communication from Caroline both in advance and during our stay when we had questions. In summary: a great place!

Within 12 km of Dunstaffnage Castle and 45 km of Kilmartin House Museum, 5 bed house near Oban provides free WiFi and a terrace.

The location and size were perfect for us, we have the chalets in total as a family and it worked really well. The chalets were clean and the furniture was generally comfortable. Especially great - we had 2 toddlers and there was very little I had to drag them away from, so pretty child-proof. The owner also brought over some amazing blueberry muffins!
