We had the most incredible stay at Rosie’s Barn, tucked away near beautiful Ullswater. From start to finish, it was peaceful, luxurious, and utterly relaxing. Every single detail had been considered — from the high-quality linens and thoughtful welcome touches to the beautifully curated interiors that made the space feel both homely and special. The barn itself is immaculate, with stunning views and easy access to scenic walks and the lake. Whether we were sipping coffee in the morning sun or unwinding after a day exploring the Lakes, it felt like a little slice of heaven. It’s clear that so much love and care has gone into making Rosie’s Barn a truly memorable place to stay. We can’t recommend it highly enough — and we’re already dreaming of coming back. An easy ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ from us!

The room was very clean and tidy and had all the comforts and amenities to make our stay relaxing and enjoyable. The kitchen was well equipped and the lighting in the room helped create a lovely and warm ambience.

This place is brilliant.. after 5 and a half hour drive we picked up some food and decided to stay at the accommodation for the first evening.. everything is here you will need.. lovely little kitchen ,en suite bathroom, a very comfortable double bed with a flat screen on the wall.. the garden is beautiful with a river out back which you have full use of and to top it off the hot tub was a blessing after the drive ready to use from 6am till midnight.. the hosts are brilliant and are there if you need anything.. oh and we won't forget the visits from the cat 🐈 hahah very friendly and came to say hello at every chance.. we will be coming back on our next visit to the lakes

Friendly staff, clean, well equipped park. The house had three bedrooms on the ground floor. One bedroom was en-suite, and a family bathroom was located on the same floor. The upper floor had a fully fitted kitchen, living / dining room with a large balcony. Speaking of the balcony, the views of the Ullswater lake were outstanding. The WiFi was excellent. The place is close to a local town Pooley Bridge for pubs and restaurants. Also, a bus service between Penrith and Windermere

I liked that the lodge was open and airy, was well equipped and lots of storage. Ample parking. The children's play areas were good.

Lakes and Eden Valley. Thornhill Cabin is a recently renovated apartment in Long Marton, where guests can make the most of its garden and barbecue facilities. A hot tub is available for guests.

Very easy to get the keys Debbie was very welcoming on arrival showed us to our lodge
