The room was clean and the bed was confortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. There is a free shuttle going from the hotel into the Historic District - great service! I used the shuttle several times and found it very convenient in stead of driving into Charleston and looking for parking. The restaurant at the top floor has a great view - and good food. The hotel is the cheapest option in a cluster of hotels in the same cul-de-sac, so if you don’t need a lot of extra features, it’s a good value. The room was very clean, though it did smell a bit musty. The breakfast had a decent number of options. But no privacy door at the sink and dressing area plus the shower floor was very slippery! Maid service was sparse! Breakfast ended at 9:30 instead of most places which end at 10:00am plus it wasn’t a great breakfast!
