We needed beach towels in the morning for the tour on the day of our arrival, and they very kindly provided the towels before our check in in the afternoon when we passed by the hotel. And staff is always smiling and you can feel the genuine sincerity and welcome. Rooms are very clean.

A refrigerator is provided in each room at Sugarloaf Lodge. A flat-screen cable TV is also provided. Bathrooms are complete with towels and free toiletries. Very large rooms. Clean. A bit farther from the street, so no noise. Beautiful sea view from the window, though it might have looked more like a lake. The pool, although not heated according to staff, had fairly warm water, and it was nice to spend time there. 20-minute drive to Key West, which offers plenty of attractions. Free coffee service available. A restaurant with tasty food just 2-3 minutes on foot but only for dinner.
