Beautiful period house built in 16th Century and renovated tastefully to a high standard in Provencal country style. Jean-Charles was an absolutely perfect host. Beautiful views out over the hills & countryside from 2 beautiful terraces. At the house a nice 8m pool to cool down. But it’s the eye for detail of the decorator that makes this such a nice place. Lots of authentic furniture combined with the best materials. It is very well equipped, clean with comfy bed and a small balcony, and did not get too hot even in summer heat. It was easy to get into the apartment, we were in regular contact with the owner on whatsapp and did not need more than that. The apartment is just next to Ménerbes old town and is well located to discover Provence by car. Our apartment Bartavelle had excellent self catering facilities, beautiful decor and possibly the most comfortable bed I’ve slept in on holiday!
