A wonderful house to have chosen for a multi-generational get-together to celebrate a big birthday. Spacious, extremely comfortable, well equipped, great views - when visible through the rain! Having this place to dodge the rain was brilliant and we all thoroughly enjoyed our week here and felt at home.

Stunning quiet location. We didn’t know Galloway very well so the location allowed us to be deep in unknown impressive landscapes. Very green! The interior is well designed, lots of room. I always appreciate a key in a lockbox as then you are not worried about your arrival time. Liz, the host was friendly. Good communication. Thd house was very well stocked with everything we needed. We enjoyed the basket of goodies....thanks! We turned the central heating on so the house was toasty. There was plenty of space and it was easy to walk into the town and the local Coop.

    The Dairy Bothy was more than we could have hoped for. We travelled up to attend/partake in a sports event locally and the cottage and facilities were well equipped for our bikes, given that it is on a national cycle way. The cottage was spacious and clean, the kitchen was well stocked with equipment and the location was beautiful, nice and peaceful! Instructions for checkout were clear and the separate bins for recycling made it so easy when we came to leave!

    The most stunning views. We were very lucky with the weather so spent lots of time in the outdoor seating listening to the stream and birdsong. Room itself spacious and comfortable. The gather is a beautiful space and food good. Might go for lodge with a hot tub next time!
