The rooms were spacious and well maintained. The hotel breakfast was superb and the servers, very attentive. Being able to eat at the sister hotel restaurant was lovely and the cream tea/savory tea was superb, as were the evening meals. We were also able to use the leisure facilities of the sister hotel, eg. pool, hot tub and sauna. Its an old cottage but inside was comfy cosy and very welcoming. The kitchen had everything needed to prepare your own food. Living room was cosy. with some lovely books on the bookshelf and jigsaws in the cupboard. Our kids loved the 3 beds in one room. the cottage was lovely and warm and the beds were comfy.
