I spent two wonderful weeks in this house. We are a family with 3 children and we all felt very well. Nancy is an extraordinary and kind host, she was careful not to miss anything, she came every 3 days for cleaning. When we arrived we found vegetables from his garden in the fridge and he often brought us small tasty snacks. We really liked the yard, which is very beautiful, with olive trees, bougainvillea, leander, a ficus, vine and vegetable garden. It is located in a pleasant and quiet area, you can hear cicadas during the day and crickets at night. The children were very excited that they had somewhere to run and play. A tree house is set up for small children. The house is clean and equipped with everything you need. And the kitchen is well equipped. We didn't miss anything. What I really liked is the fact that the beds had many pillows and were very comfortable. We all slept very well. We were sorry that the two weeks passed too quickly and we are already thinking of coming back here in the following years.

Crystal Villas is the ultimate destination for relaxation and a truly transformative vacation experience. We spent two unforgettable weeks at this beautiful retreat, located at the southern tip of the Paliki peninsula in Kefalonia, Greece. Before arriving, we read that the location was somewhat isolated—but that’s exactly what makes it so special. It’s just a 15-minute drive from Lixouri and about an hour from Kefalonia Airport. The complex consists of four private villas, each with its own shaded parking space. The layout is thoughtfully designed: Ground floor: A cozy living room with a large TV, a convenient small toilet, and a fully equipped kitchen with everything you need to prepare meals. The surrounding terrace is a highlight, featuring a lovely dining area, a pristine swimming pool with sunbeds, an outdoor shower, and a spacious private lawn. Upper floor: The master bedroom includes a closet and safe, while the second bedroom has two single beds. Both rooms have private balconies with seating. The shared bathroom is functional. The view from the master bedroom’s balcony is simply breathtaking—you can watch the sunrise over majestic Mount Ainos and the sunset over the Ionian Sea. We made it a daily ritual to enjoy both. Just 150 meters from the villas is a serene bay, perfect for morning or evening swims and snorkeling. The water is clear and teeming with fish, especially in the early hours. The surrounding area is peaceful and ideal for walks. Vatsa Beach is only five minutes away, along with the charming family-run taverna of Captain Nikolas. Xi Beach + Mega Lakos Beach are also nearby, and we highly recommend a 25-minute drive to the Monastery of Kipoureon for stunning sunset views. Lixouri, the closest town, is great for evening strolls along the harbor, with plenty of restaurants, cafés. And finally, a special mention to the host, Venis—a truly exceptional person who was available 24/7 and made us feel completely at home.

The location is very good, close to Lixouri from where there is also a convenient ferry to Argustoli. The beaches of the peninsula are very calm and with fine sand. The house is very cozy, with a very well-equipped kitchen and a place to eat for 8 people in the main building, a hammock and a comfortable place to rest in the additional building.

We really enjoyed our stay at Villa Virginia. On arrival we were greeted by the owner who was very welcoming and made us feel at home straight away. The property feels like a authentic Greek house and has all of the facilities that you would need. The property was spotlessly clean. The views from the garden and balcony were amazing and the location is very private and peaceful, which made for a relaxing stay. Around 10 mins drive from Lixouri.

    Comfortable and cozy. Perfect location for nearby beaches and local Greek restaurants. Faraway from crowdy Lixouri and Argostoli. The pool is suitable for families with babies or young children. Staff very friendly and the apartment was prepared well, air conditioned and clean.

    Very friendly and helpful hosts, good location, close to Lixouri, with available parking spaces in the back. The apartment was very clean and cosy, was spacious and had air conditioners in each room, which was very nice to have in that warm weather. The apartment was cleaned and tidied up every day, which was very nice to come back to, after a long day of exploring the island.

    Everythings was great, sea view from balcony,clean and cosy apartment,very quiet place,and the host was very nice and helpful and pet friendly. Our dog was very happy. The beach with red sand was 8 min walk from the house and was very nice with good restorant above the beach. We totaly recomand Pagonis Studios.

    Rosa and her mother Ana made us feel like we were visiting the family. The house is so cosy and the breakfast was prepared with love and was very varied. In a well-located and tasteful atmosphere, we quickly got into a relaxed state and enjoyed the peaceful surroundings. And -we had a great time by the pool. All in all, we had a fantastic time. The Volidiera Guesthouse is highly recommended.

    I had a lovely big room that had nice views of the hillside & countryside. It was very peaceful & a great place to relax. My host were lovely, making me feel really welcome & part of the family. It's slightly old fashioned feel gave it a quaintness that I really liked. It was very fitting for the Island of Kefalonia. I would definitely stay again.
