Small waterfall just a 5 min walk down the Ricefield in case you want to enjoy nature without doing a long hike :) overall amazing stay , fully furnished kitchen and cozy open lounge to enjoy a lazy afternoon !

United StatesBeautiful property, good food, super comfortable bed, and amazing staff. Zakira, Fendi, and the whole team will take care of you. Highly recommend booking a tour with Fendi- I did the rice fields tour and monkey forest, where we saw some black monkeys! He knows the places the go, so it’s super helpful to have him as a guide, and speaks great English too. Wonderful hosts, I will miss them!

Mat and the rest of the crew were very kind and welcoming, cooked good food (even if it took a little bit of time sometimes..!), and Mat took me to visit the various sights around the area while telling me a lot about the area and how he’s come to create Vanilla Garden with his uncle. The tours were great. We saw monkeys, snakes, lizards, a view of Mt Rinjani, rice fields, countryside,, a traditional weaving village and loads of happy kids and locals everywhere we went. There are no other tourists in this little village and everyone made us feel special. The view from the restaurant and our bungalow terrace was super idyllic. On top of that, you support the local community, just by staying there and engaging with the staff. The bungalows are so cute and cozy with a great view over the rice fields from their own little balcony/porch. But what I will remember the most was how friendly and welcoming every one was! We booked a cooking class and the coffee and coconut oil making class and it was just so much fun and such a great and authentic experience. Situated on a side way, in a charming bamboo bungalow. Surrounded by nature and rice fields, the view is stunning, and has a side window giving a view of the Rijani volcano. The room itself was well equipped and comfortable, with a charming terrace and open-air bathroom. The staff are very friendly and helpful in organising activities, transport and making the stay enjoyable and comfortable.
