We only spent one (summer) night in La Ferme du Grand Paradis, but we would have loved to spend more. The property is an exceptionally presented farm stay in the Gran Paradiso National Park. It's the perfect retreat for those looking for a peaceful and quiet time in the mountains. Paola and Beatrice welcomed us and were very lovely and helpful. The location is magnificent from which you can walk/drive to and from Cogne.

A great little apartment and really good value for a night in a beautiful & very quiet location. The host Silvia was such a lovely lady. She meet us at the apartment and answered all question using her phone to translate, so we did the same! Worked a treat. She also sent us some great links/information about things to do on the Colle del Nivolet (which we were cycling up the next day). Comfy beds, great shower, & enough equipment for a night including tea and coffee facilities, plus plenty of room for ours bikes. There's a fantastic local Pizzeria (Pizzeria e Ristorante da Tiziano) just 5 minutes away in the car (or 20 minutes on foot) which I would definitely recommend a visit too. Fantastic food and wine, as you would expect over in Italy. Silvia actually gave us a lift there and picked us up. How fantastic is that! Super host without a doubt. Grazie ancora Silvia.

Staying at Agriturismo Plan de la Tour was one of the highlights of our trip to Italy. If you’re looking for a quiet escape into nature, with amazing food, adorable animals, and hosts who truly care, this is it. We left with full hearts (and full bellies) and already dream of returning!
