The rooms are clean, spacious, comfortable beds. The staff is very friendly, always ready to help and advise. The food was delicious and there was plenty of it. They serve beer and wine. The location is a 10-minute walk to the river, which was no problem. A very nice walk through the village, the locals are all very friendly, greeting, smiling. My daughter and I don't eat sea food and I'm GF and there were always special meals prepared for us. The guide who took us on cruises was just excellent. He knew a lot about animals and tried really hard to find as many as he could. Rooms and bathrooms are big and comfortable, the lodge is quite well mantained. Food was good but served lukewarm as the other travellers say here. A range of activities to keep busy and Carol (I think his name was) was a good and charming guide. He had his own style - quite chilled but knowledgeable. We saw proboscis monkeys, hornbills, macaques and a baby croc. The lodge offers lunch and dinner for RM35 as there is no other food places around. The lodge is very homely place and they also offers activities like hikes, boat rides and night walks. We spent the whole time doing activities with them. The area is ideal for wildlife watching. Asslan was an amazing guide! He spotted everything for us and provided cool infos. It was so refreshing to wake up to the sound of cicadas outside your window. Bryan and Siti were very helpful and made us feel at home. They went out of their way to meet our dietary requirements for our meals. Tour activities can be booked at the lodge upon arrival.
