This is the most cozy apartment we have ever stayed in. It’s like staying with family. Especially as the lady of the house came to bring us delicious food several times. She brought us rice pourage which brought me back to my youth 🤗 The bed is super comfortable, the shower and WiFi are great. The apartment has everything and more than you can wish for as its awfully furnished house. The location was perfect for us. We enjoyed the road up to the center and it was easy to park the car infront of the apartment. As every location up till now has been challenging to find in Albania. For us we followed google maps and then drove up the hill until we saw a bruncht blue house on the left hand side.

There is a beautiful terrace, the breakfast is very rich, and the homemade orange jam is delicious. Thank you for everything you did for us. We also had a very pleasant chat. Owner is very talkative. We will return if we come back to Albania.

I don’t think the pictures and descriptions do this house justice. It’s beautiful with amazing views of the castle. 5mins walk from the main bazar. It’s been lovingly restored by the family. Lovely personal touches throughout the house. Everything is new and exceptionally clean. Large outside courtyard with a lovely little sunny terrace to have coffee in the morning. The family are so helpful and go over and above to help. We had fresh eggs from their hens for breakfast and a fig cake delivered still warm the next day. They were there to help start the car when the battery went flat. We had a wonderful stay and will definitely be back.

The apartment is well located. From the large balcony you can see the old center and the clock tower, and of you walk down you reach the main square of the old center in 3-5 minutes. The apartment had 3 bedrooms with comfy beds, and an inside and outside dining place. There are some chairs and couches to relax on. All in all a very nice place for a family or small group visiting Gjirokaster.

Everything was perfect. Such a warm welcome and with the kindness that personifies Albania. Clean and cool. Fast WiF. The host made it perfect with her wonderful personality and generosity. We booked last minute and she made us comfortable with practically no warning.
