It was super clean, it was getting warm really quickly, within walking distance from the city center. Overall it was the best stay for a family with small kids. What a cosy place to stay! It is indeed an old cottage and our room looked out over the loch. The accommodations are outstanding with a well appointed bedroom and bathroom. The bed was so comfortable! There is a communal sitting room with tons of information about Scotland. The hosts are so friendly and welcoming and are very knowledgeable about Scottish history and area sights. Breakfast is served in a bright dining room overlooking the water with bird feeders attracting local birds to the garden outside. Breakfast choices were extensive and made to order. You are out in the countryside, so I recommend you have a car and the cottage does have free parking. This is the perfect way point in your travels through Scotland.
