The environment is a fantastic heritage site with buildings ranging from a 6th Century Chapel - the oldest standing building in Devon - to 16th Century, 18th Century buildings and lovely thatched cottages clustered around a charming courtyard.
The cottage had everything we needed and was charming and cosy. The outside space was wonderful, with a choice of seating areas and fairy lights adding a warm glow in the evening. Best of all was having the hot tub, and we made very good use of it!
Very special place: stunning surrounds, beautiful house, idyllic, cozy and peaceful. Everything we could have wanted in a beautiful getaway and more. Charming, hugely comfortable rooms set in a glorious countryside. Maggie and Quentin are so kind, welcoming, and thoughtful and they think of absolutely everything. Fantastic breakfasts in the mornings as well. We were here fifteen years ago and it is just as wonderful as we remember. We will be back sooner next time! Highly recommend.
Wonderful old terraced cottage. It was cosy, and comfortable for our family and dog. The pub across the road has charming staff and locals, and excellent food and drink options too.
Great little site, nestled in the middle of the peaceful Lincolnshire countryside. Really enjoyed some peace and quiet. The cabin was cosy, modern and clean. The log burning hot tub is just brilliant and adds to the experience. There is a nice wooded area to walk your dog along with the dog agility area as well. Some great views and sunsets! Not far from local amenities. Staff really helpful and friendly. Nothing was too much for them. All in all feeling very relaxed after our break and will definitely return.
