Boasting lake views, Vržina Farm House Skadar Lake features accommodation with patio, around 3.3 km from Lake Skadar. We toured by bus then train from Poderica to Skadar. The train is primitive. We were dropped off far outside the unannounced station at night. we jumped down from the open door onto the tracks more than a meter below with our luggage in a dark forest about 500 m. from some lights in the distance and Nancy has mobility issues. The hotel family picked us up an hour later..the station was closed. The family was gracious.

The location of the house is perfect to visit the surroundings of Virpazar, including of course a boat excursion on the Skadar Lake. Marko managed to organize it, and it went very well. Facilities are correct, with all that we needed for a comfortable stay. And all perfectly clean. They offer food but we did not try (mistake!). Other guests told us that it was a great experience, including the wines of the property.

Beautiful quiet remote location. If you want to get away from the urban areas is the best place to go. The view is gorgeous and the hosts were very nice, caring and helpful. We would definitely go back to that place, we would have stay longer!
