Raiatea Lodge Hotel offers air-conditioned rooms, each with a large terrace overlooking the lagoon. The bar and restaurant look out onto the swimming pool and serves Tahitian and international... A 10 out of 10 hotel. They knew it was our honeymoon and had several special touches ready for our arrival. The hotel has everything you need and the staff is incredibly attentive (special thanks to Elodie and Kohai). They also help you with any excursions you’d like to do. If we come back to Raiatea, we’ll definitely stay here again!

You better have a rental car or scooter to explore the island, but hosts are happy to help and have special offers. Very nice beaches nearby with good snorkeling.

Very cosy hotel on the beautiful beach, nice little pool, good food and super friendly staff. The gourmet restaurant is amazing!

Hotelul Fenua Mata'i'oa este situat într-o grădină tropicală unică, lângă lagună, şi oferă un bar și un restaurant. This is such a wonderful property- the years of care and personal time invested by the owner and staff are evident in every turn. Location is so convenient, but when there you feel separated from the daily life of the island enterprises. It’s a little slice of heaven on Moorea. The grounds of the hotel itself are fascinating and overflowing with tropical trees and flowers and statuary. The cats are so friendly and make it feel like home (but we love animals). The entire staff want nothing more than for you to relax and enjoy and will go out of their way to assist you with anything they can. They were all so nice and helpful and pleasant. We ordered breakfast each night and it was delivered promptly the next morning and was delicious every day. We were out exploring or doing activities most days so weren’t there much during the daytime. We had a couple nice dinners out and had delivery from Holy Moly Steakhouse one night when we wanted to stay in. So several choices for dining options in your suite or nearby depending on your schedule and preferences. We had a rental car from Avis that we picked up at the ferry port in Moorea and dropped off at the airport in Moorea which I would recommend to make it easier to get around. It was very easy to navigate around the island. But several of the restaurants and activity coordinators will gladly pick you up and drop you off at the hotel if you don’t want a car. It was a very safe location and we had a mixed crowd of guests during our stay. Solo female travelers, couples with very small children, mixed generational families (grandparents, parents, older children, etc), and some couples either honeymooning or vacationing. It was a nice mix and everyone just kind of did their own thing. It never felt crowded or too full. It was perfect.

The location is great for snorkeling and enjoying sunsets on a private beach. The resort provided paddle boards and canoes for no extra charge. The facilities are new and modern and the housekeeping services are outstanding.

Moorea Beach Lodge is situated on the first most beautiful beach of Moorea. A fridge and kettle are also provided. Every unit comes with a private bathroom with free toiletries. My beach bungalow was gorgeous and very comfortable. The staff was lovely and made me feel like home. There is a snorkeling spot nearby but I was happy to see rays and sharks at the beach in front of the hotel. The common spaces are gorgeous and it was nice to have a shared kitchen to meet other travelers. I loved this place.
