Good rooms, great breakfast. Big modern hotel. Small gym to stretch my back out after days on a motorcycle. Good underground parking with lift into hotel. Reasonable restaurant but with usual Swiss expense! Same throughout town though. Location was ok for us as a touring base but could be long walk to other parts of town.

The Hotel Edelweiss is located in a sunny and quiet area in Davos, just a few steps from the public indoor pool, the ski and hiking trails, the sports center, and the congress hall.

I was staying alone in a double room. My room was in 'Ochsen 2', which means it was located in the building right next to the building with the reception and the restaurant. Overall I was happy with the stay. + Friendly employees + Location only a few minutes on foot from Jakobshorn gondula. Bus stop within 50 m to reach Parsenn (approx. 5 min by bus). + Modern rooms, nice bathroom, one can open the window to let fresh air in. Clean facilities. + Like in other hotels in Davos you can buy your ski ticket in the hotel and you get a 'Davos Premium Card' to use the public transport for free and get discounts in town (e.g. in the eau-la-la swimming pool). + Clean place in the basement to store skiing equipment. + Easy access with a badge to facilities.

Just 100 metres from the Jakobshorn Cable Car and 200 metres from the centre of Davos, the 4-star superior Hotel Grischa offers 5 restaurants.

Beautifully restored, charming ‘Kur’ hotel. Lovely big rooms with balcony overlooking the garden and village. Unfortunately, I suppose due to the age of the property, there was no ensuite (wc, shower) in the very charming room. Facilities were down the hall. We were invited to use the spa facilities which looked beautiful but unfortunately, we didn’t have time. We did have a very delicious dinner at the hotel and breakfast was great too. A special thanks to the excellent waiting staff. Bergün is a lovely location.
