We arrived by car and avoided the no-car zone by parking in the parking garage about 600 meters from the hotel. The way to the hotel is pleasant and easy to find. The staff at check-in were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is just across the square, which is right in the center of Mantua. The room is in an old, stately, well and tastefully renovated building; everything works excellently. From there you can explore the impressive old town very easily ... Mantua is very lively, has many visitors, but is still characterized by the locals. We found many good restaurants where mainly Italians did dine. We didn't know Mantua beforehand and wanted to break up a long return journey there. The choice of location and hotel was a real stroke of luck. Thank you very much.

Host never answered any of my calls, messages to arrange check in. I was left outside by myself as a solo female traveller at night to a locked door. Has yet to still reply to my emails, WhatsApp or messages and I’m still chasing customer service for a refund who have to be the most unhelpful lot I’ve ever come across

Excellent location, very close to the station and only 10 minute walk to town centre. Room was comfortable with very efficient air conditioning. Staff friendly and helpful
