Built in 1574 as a shipmaster’s house, Renaissancehotel Raffelsberger Hof B&B is a protected building in the historic village centre of Weißenkirchen in the Wachau. So much to love about this property! It’s beautiful, historic with many original features, wonderful staff - we booked 5 minutes prior to arriving and they couldn’t do more to make us feel comfortable, beautifully run, amazingly comfortable beds (cycled from passau to Vienna averaging 70km per day and this was my best nights sleep by far!), wonderful breakfast. I really hope we are lucky enough to stay here again one day and have recommended it to family and friends already despite only having stayed there last night. Even the village and neighbouring villages are stunning and rich with history and wine

Great hotel room with a beautiful view. The hospitality was the best part of our stay and we could not ask for anything better. The property is kept in the best condition possible, especially the gardens and pool area.

The apartment is beautiful, spacious and well equipped. It has its own charm with the decoration and paintings, we absolutely loved it! The breakfast is freshly made by the owner, Heidi. It was nicely served and the portion is more than enough 😁 We really enjoyed staying there, and definitely would go back again! ☺️

Located in the pedestrian zone in the Old Town of Melk,at the foot of Melk Abbey, the historic Rathauskeller features a restaurant serving traditional Austrian cuisine. We stayed in this hotel on a short cycling trip along the Danube. Their main business seems to be the restaurant, which by the way serves good dinner and ice-cream! The rooms are on the 2nd floor and despite the busy restaurant below, we slept well. And they obviously knew how to set up a good breakfast buffet!

The hotel is in a beautiful old building. The room was comfortable and clean. Breakfast was diverse and tasty. Melk itself is a sweet little town with a magnificent Abbey. Little market during advent time is cute.

The room was comfortable and quiet; the breakfast buffet and coffee and cooked-to-order eggs were all perfect. The location was a convenient 5 min walk from the Steiner Tor.

Il Madar Café Restaurant zum Fürsten è una caffetteria tradizionale in stile viennese situata in un edificio del 16° secolo nella zona pedonale del centro di Melk, a soli 500 m dall'Abbazia di Melk. Great location (just in front of Rathaus in the old town, 10 min on foot to the abbey, in the heart of the beautiful old town with many restaurants, shops and ice cream shops), very kind and helpful staff during the whole stay, parking in the inner yard (5 parking spaces + space for bicycles), great breakfast served from 7.30h till 10h. The room was clean, beds were comfortable. It was a lovely city and a lively hotel for one night stop on our way home.
