The Hotel Föhrenhof is situated in a peaceful area on the edge of a forest in Farchant, just 3 km from the Garmisch-Partenkirchen. Beautifully presented, free parking excellent. Greeted us with an icecream for my daughter and buttered pretzels all around. Very welcoming 😀

The 4-star superior hotel has been family-run since 1634 and offers an indoor swimming pool, various saunas, steam baths, a children's playground and a cosy lounge. Nothing to say, all was prefect.

Featuring a modern spa area, an indoor pool and views of the Bavarian Alps, this family-run garni hotel is located just 10 km from the German border with Austria. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They look after the guests and are willing to help. I was very impressed by the customer service. There are two supermarkets with a walking distance, and the bus stops right in front of the hotel.

This hotel stands opposite Garmisch-Partenkirchen Train Station and the Zugspitze Mountain Railway. It offers free Wi-Fi in the lobby, German cuisine and Alpine-style rooms with solid wood furniture. Location of the hotel is excellent, right next to a train station. Room was nice, clean and comfortable. It was a loft room (you had to watch for your head at certain parts of it) but it was of good size and even the bathroom had a window with the view of nearby mountains, I was really pleasantly surprised by that detail. Breakfast was good, not such a big selection but there were some nice options.

Special thanks to the attentive staff, especially in the restaurant: the service was impeccable, the cuisine delightful, and the breakfasts varied and delicious. The hotel is conveniently located in the city center, making it perfect for exploring, yet it remains peaceful and cozy inside. The historic interiors create a unique atmosphere, transporting you to the past while maintaining a high standard of service. Ending the day in the sauna is a great way to relax after a busy day.

Þetta fjölskyldurekna hótel er í aðeins 2 mínútna göngufjarlægð frá Oberammergau-lestarstöðinni og býður upp á fallega garðverönd, morgunverðarsal og ókeypis bílastæði á staðnum. We appreciated a lot the cleaniness of the room and the kindness of the hosts. The locatiin was great, close to the center of the city and also close to the slopes.

Breakfast was very good, everything you would expect to see, hot and fresh, coffee quickly offered and topped up. Restaurant is very nice, especially window seats.
