The Hotel Alexander is located right at the Messe Basel fairgrounds and the Congress Centre, a 7-minute ride from the centre of Basel. The tram stop is right outside. Free Wi-Fi is available. Staff was friendly, room was clean, breakfast was fine :)

The Central City Hotel Rochat is housed in a historic, listed building in the old town of Basel. Everything perfect. Big room and very very clean, good WiFi. The personal very frendly. The hotel was close to everything, bus station to airport close too.

The family-run GAIA Hotel Basel can be found right across from Basel Main Train Station, only a 10-minute walk from the historic city centre. The location right across from the train station was perfect since I needed the train one of the days of my stay. It was also an easy walk to Altstadt for a tour I had scheduled.

Situated in a historic building in central Basel, Euler Hotel is opposite the SBB Train Station. Guests receive a Mobility Ticket, granting free access to all means of public transport. It was right by the train and metro, so perfect to get around where I needed.
