The staff and host were so friendly and made us feel at home. The place is peaceful, immaculately clean and full of warmth. The breakfast was wholesome and delicious due to the fresh ingredients. The rooms and the hotel overlook the beautiful lake and mountains. The toilet has a bidet installed. The hotel is conveniently accessed via public transportation and just a 2 minute walk from the nearest bus stop.

The Grandhotel Giessbach is a historic house from 1874 and enjoys a secluded position on a hill above Lake Brienz amid a 22-hectare park. The Hotel is perfect with all. We love it. Amazing atmosphere!!! Everywhere is so clean, authentic, historical.

Built in 1881, the family-run Hotel Alpenrose is the oldest hotel in the car-free Wengen, which is only reachable by train, and offers you completely renovated rooms in a traditional Alpine style and... Dinner was very reasonably priced and was delicious. Servide was wonderful. Location was excellent

The Edelweiss hotel can be found in calm surroundings, a 4-minute walk away from the train station in the car-free village of Wengen. The hotel offers cosy rooms and free WiFi. During our road trip we stayed at 14 different hotels and this one was by far the best. Although it was a bit pricey for us, we don't regret one second staying here. The hotel is so charming and the room has just the best view. We stayed here for one night and I set my alarm a couple of hours earlier than I was supposed to get up just to sit on the balcony and enjoy the view of the snowy mountains. The staff, the food, the room - everything was great. You cannot get there by car, you need to leave it at the parking garage in Lauterbrunnen train station and then you go by train (which was scheduled every 30 minutes while we were there in June). The train ride itself is such an amazing experience and we enjoyed it so much. We are also happy that we took a couple of hours and walked around Lauterbrunnen before going to Wengen because both are such amazing places.
