Boutique Hotel Friesinger is situated in Kressbronn am Bodensee, just 1 km from Lake Constance. The hotel offers a garden, a terrace and a children’s playground. The breakfast was great! A cozy environment with a warm friendly and very accommodating staff.

Apartment Hotel Schreier am See stands directly on the promenade on the island of Lindau, on Lake Constance. We absolutely loved this apartment/hotel. The apartment itself was wonderfully designed, with a fully-equipped kitchen, comfortable bed, spacious eating space, and nice bathroom/shower. We had beautiful flowers planted in boxes, just outside the bedroom windows, and we had an air conditioning unit that was a godsend on the hot days. The parking spot was not far from the apartment so we were able to park and carrying our things from the car. We met both the owner and her mother, both kind and helpful. They answered all our questions and made us feel welcomed. We'd love to stay here again in the future! :-)

Hotel Ratsstuben is situated in Lindau, 23 km from Dornbirn Exhibition Centre and 28 km from Fairground Friedrichshafen. Great location, very clean, beautifully maintained space. Friendly atmosphere , delicious breakfast.

This 5-star superior hotel overlooks Lake Constance in the Petershausen district of Konstanz. The only bad thing was the WiFi & a small not well equipped gym but other than absolutely amazing hotel. Super friendly staff, always ready to help, beautiful location, clean, very nice facilities, delicious breakfast. Highly recommend this hotel !

The medieval-themed Mittelalterhotel-Gästehaus Rauchfang is situated in the historic town of Meersburg, just 50 metres from the shores of Lake Constance. Quaint decor which fitted the aura of the town’s history. Amazing venue for breakfast, taking in the magnificent lake-side views. The Reception staff were overwhelmingly considerate, kind and conscientious.

Hotel Vadian Garni is set in 2 separate historic buildings, with the hotel dating back to 1904 and the annex to the 16th century, this 2-star-superior hotel is located in the old centre of Sankt... I stayed in this location two separate times on this trip, once alone and the second time with fellow travelers. It is ideally located in the Aldstadt near the Abbey. I chose the beautiful corner room in the Dependence building for my first stay (there are two corner rooms, the lower floor has more windows if that is a draw for you as it was for me). It was exquisite and worth the extra francs. I especially enjoyed being able to see the city Christmas lights from a 180 degree angle. The room was spacious with comfortable extra seating. There was a nice mini fridge and coffee maker in the room as well. The bed was very relaxing and the bathroom roomy and well equipped. Check in was limited in time from 4-6 but the staff was prompt & courteous. They have two sets of luggage lockers in the check-in building for 2chf (refundable) for early arrivals. Lockers are large enough to accommodate a 23" suitcase with a bit of room to spare. My second stay was also in the Dependence building but I wanted my friends to enjoy the two corner rooms so I chose a smaller one which was still extremely comfortable. (Property photos are very accurate.) We did not partake of the breakfast at the hotel, choosing instead to eat in a Conditerei just around the corner. We were in Switzerland for the Christmas markets; chose St. Gallen as an overnight stop on our journey. I would not go to St. Gallen for its Christmas market, though the Aldstadt had beautifully decorated streets and store windows that were magical and convenient to explore.

Featuring a rooftop terrace with lovely views of Lake Constance, this 3-star hotel is located on the island of Lindau. Guests enjoy free WiFi and there is a restaurant with a historical pub. Breakfast was always delicious and generous. The breakfast hosts were warmly welcoming and took excellent care of our needs, over and above. Reception staff and hotel hosts were wonderful too. Perfect location.
