Really comfortable and private hotel for a great price in Puerto Viejo. We loved the size and layout of the room, the patio area and the pool was a nice bonus. It was close to everything but far enough that there was no traffic noise or music from the local clubs. Filtered water and coffee offered daily was great and the staff were friendly and helpful.

Offering an outdoor swimming pool and an extensive garden, Hotel Banana Azul is located in Playa Negra beach and 2.5 km from Puerto Viejo town centre. Free WiFi access is available in all areas. Location was perfect, had a beautiful beach , breakfast was great, my room had a big terrace with hamaca and staff was very nice. Close to the main places. I loved it

Situated 150 metres from Playa Cocles Beach, Caribe Town Bungalows offers tropical gardens and a pool with a swim-up bar. Puerto Viejo town is just 3 km away. I stayed for three nights in November. I loved this place. It felt slightly off the beaten track being out of town but had everything needed within a short distance. I loved the feeling that you were in the middle of the jungle. The owners were super friendly and gave great recommendations for where to eat and activities. The beach just opposite is absolutely beautiful. The cabin was gorgeous and all the little things had been considered, nice toiletries, plug by the mirror for drying hair etc. The bed was huge and super comfortable. Breakfast was fantastic. I always had the Special of the day. Do not miss Coconut French bread day!
