Classical music playing in the morning and her staff providing food to the birds and squirrels each morning from the breakfast view made me feel like I was in a storybook.

Very charming hotel, rich in culture and history, the lots of art on display throughout the building. Front desk staff were very helpful and bilingual. Our room was clean and cozy. The restaurant attached to the hotel was also exceptional. We would definitely stay here again!

Located in the centre of San José, Fleur de Lys offers individually decorated rooms set in a Victorian mansion. It features an attractive terrace, gardens and a restaurant. The hotel was super authentic and beautiful. I really loved the decoration and vibe of the place. The room was also really nice, super clean, and the bed comfortable. The quality of this place for its price is really great. My favourite part was without a doubt how nice and helpful staff were. I was travelling alone and this was my first stop in Costa Rica. They were really nice to give me directions to the bus station I had to go to the next morning. Will absolutely come back here on my next trip!

Great place, very helpful staff. I returned to Palma Real another 2 times during my trip. It was a cozy safe heaven.
