Located in the centre of San José, Fleur de Lys offers individually decorated rooms set in a Victorian mansion. It features an attractive terrace, gardens and a restaurant. I loved the antique building this hotel is in. A beautiful outside garden and a simple but very well prepared breakfast.

Hotel Palma Real is set in San José, 400 metres from La Sabana Park, home to the Costa Rica National Stadium. The hotel offers a gym, free Wi-Fi and parking, Parking has an additional cost. Great place, very helpful staff. I returned to Palma Real another 2 times during my trip. It was a cozy safe heaven.
