One of the nicest hotel stays we’ve ever had. From the friendly staff to the beautifully appointed very large room to the tasty breakfasts, we were very impressed. There’s much to be said for a family run hotel as opposed to the big chains.

Brilliant hosts - welcoming, engaging, helpful, providing lots of useful information, to say nothing of a pleasant conversation over aperitif in late afternoon. The property is a gorgeous chateau with a beautiful garden surrounded by woods. There is ample parking on site. The place is just a few kilometres from Condom, technically it is inside the municipal area. The hosts say animals abound, but I didn't see any, except birds. Lots of interesting places to visit around - Hélène will give you all the info. Only upon arrival did I find out that Hélène comes from one of the more famous Armagnac-producing families. The collection of bottles in the dining room is fascinating, you can buy some, and you may be offered a dégustation before you commit! Breakfast is excellent.

La Residence is totally beautiful, gorgeous stylish décor of high quality, very comfy beds and beautiful bed linen., excellent bathrooms etc. Lisa and Richard were fantastic hosts, very attentive, nothing was ever too much trouble for them and they made the most wonderful breakfasts for us. If we could give triple points we would gladly do it. The village is also superb, so historic and full of atmosphere. We stayed for 6 nights and filled each day wandering the countryside in our car, discovering beautiful medieval villages and magnificent countryside each day. Το Maison d'hôtes "Les Jardins de Mazamet" είναι σε Mazamet, σε ακτίνα 19 χλμ από Εκθεσιακό Κέντρο Castres και 19 χλμ από Μουσείο Goya. We had a lovely relaxing stay. Nothing was too much trouble. The hotel is small and very small personable. They make their own jam, juice, and yoghurt for breakfast. On one evening we were very happy outside by the pool and they bought us fresh fruit, cheese and charcuterie. It was a lovely place to stay and just what we needed.

Our night's rest was blissful in a very comfortable bed and the following day started on a high with a breakfast of substance eaten in just the most beautiful dining venue steeped in history
