In a tranquil setting on the banks Loch Awe, Taychreggan, Signature Collection by Eight Continents offers elegant accommodation and high-quality dining. We received free upgrade to an amazing large room with loch view. Much appreciated. Our dinner choices of duck confit/sausage as appetizer and a most delicious venison, main course, paired with a Romanian Pinot Noir were an excellent choice. The hotel’s isolated location at the end of a long one-way road was truly magnificent.

Situated in Oban and only 600 metres from Corran Halls, Hawthornbank features accommodation with sea views, free WiFi and free private parking. Location is perfect with parking being a bonus. Clive the owner is wonderful and extremely accommodating and very friendly.Breajfast was a real treat.

With a 4-star rating from Visit Scotland, the pretty Struan House B&B is found on Tarbert’s peaceful harbour-side. Breakfast was incredible, the best of the trip. House-baked pastries, breakfast made to order. They send you out the door with extra croissants, etc. Staff incredibly friendly. Rooms are flawless. Beds are comfy. Location is spectacular.
