We had one of the new rooms which is beautifully furnished and has a very big bathroom with both shower and tub. Everything is new and clean and the bed is super comfortable. We would come back.

MacKays is a high-quality, 4-star guest house, which is exclusively for adults. The award-winning property stands out on Oban's beautiful seafront, with uninterrupted views of the busy harbour. The location was perfect. We had a gorgeous view of the bay from our front window. There was also seating outside. The room was immaculate. Parking was private and directly in front of the building.

Centrally located in a beautiful tranquil setting, easily found with allocated parking space. Contact from staff was perfect and housekeeping staff very helpful. Stayed in the Sun Room which was lovely and included a small fridge to keep breakfast items chilled, as appropriate.

Within 15 minutes’ drive of 4 of the Isle of Islay’s whisky distilleries, Skerrols House has uninterrupted countryside views and is just a 5-minute drive from the coastal village of Bridgend. The location is very quiet, in the middle of a beautiful landscape. Great for a nice morning walk. Still, within a short drive you can find restaurants, distilleries etc. Thomas is a very friendly and welcoming host. Rooms are great, spacious, newly renovated. Breakfast ist awesome! Try the scrambled eggs any version. Very nice garden to sit with a beer or for kids to play. Will come again any time we’ll have the chance. My whole family was very happy here.
