Originally a wealthy sea captain’s mansion built in 1810, the Hotel Miranda is a fine example of characteristic local architecture. The old decor fits the location so well. The garden is also beautiful. It was a joy to have breakfast there every morning (and befriend the cats). The location is perfect - very close to the port, yet in a quiet area. We managed to drag our luggage there ourselves - it was easier downhill when we left:).

Just 100 metres from Hydra Port, this renovated mansion provides a unique base in a peaceful setting with a charming courtyard and free wireless internet access. Its location is perfect for us! In the center, yet away from the gathering places. The building itself is so homey. Wished we had more time to spend in the island and in this hotel.

Just 200 metres from the scenic Hydra Port, the 5-star Hotel Leto Hydra offers elegant rooms, furnished as a traditional Hydriot mansion. Such pretty rooms. We had a balcony room and I just loved waking up in the morning to the roosters and donkeys.. this is a beautiful hotel to stay

Relaxed vibe a few streets back from the strip. Boutique and traditional style. We got a few beach towels from Christos (brilliant) and on one rainy evening we found umbrellas in the hallway. A short walk from some lovely swimming spots of the rocks, restaurants and cafes all around

Orloff Boutique Hotel, one of the historic Hydra mansions of the 18th century, is lovingly restored to an elegant, luxurious 4 star boutique hotel. I loved that it was luxury yet traditional. Our room was spacious with lots of light and views to the town and the sea in the distance.
