With respect to the local architecture, the stone-built Nereids Guesthouse enjoys views of the Saronic Gulf and Hydra Town from its furnished terraces. We were lucky to find this place still available! It’s just a 5-minute walk from the port and easy to reach—no stairs to climb to get there. The room was spacious, airy, very clean, and had a super comfortable bed. No mosquitoes, and some nice bathroom amenities were provided. We even had bottled water waiting for us in the room. The staff was incredibly kind—he helped us carry our luggage upstairs without us even asking. Towels were changed every day, which was a nice touch. Each room has a small patio, and the view from our room was absolutely incredible. He also recommended a few restaurants nearby, and all of them were excellent. The closest beach, Kaminia, is about a 15-minute walk away. You can easily walk everywhere from the property. We stayed for 4 nights and would definitely come back again!

Originally a wealthy sea captain’s mansion built in 1810, the Hotel Miranda is a fine example of characteristic local architecture. The staff is so friendly and helpful. The breakfast is delicious and homey, really enjoyed it!

Just 200 metres from the scenic Hydra Port, the 5-star Hotel Leto Hydra offers elegant rooms, furnished as a traditional Hydriot mansion. Such pretty rooms. We had a balcony room and I just loved waking up in the morning to the roosters and donkeys.. this is a beautiful hotel to stay

Set in a historic building in the heart of Hydra, Angelica Traditional Boutique Hotel boasts charming accommodations with spa baths or jet showers, and offers a courtyard with a mini pool, hot tub and... Breakfast is served in a delightful courtyard, and the room I had, across the road from the main building, was fantastic, very spacious, clean, lots of towels, great, comfy mattress and pillows. There is also a bath which I believe bubbles up. Outside the room there were lie-down decks and the environment is pleasant enough to chill in, with cats dropping by to hang too. There is also a communal jacuzzi tub outside.

Orloff Boutique Hotel, one of the historic Hydra mansions of the 18th century, is lovingly restored to an elegant, luxurious 4 star boutique hotel. I loved that it was luxury yet traditional. Our room was spacious with lots of light and views to the town and the sea in the distance.
