Fantastic location 5 minutes from the main bus stop but very quiet. Michael was a great host (got us in touch with a fantastic taxi driver who took us to Omey Island and back for a reasonable price), the sitting room on the ground floor had tea and coffee and great selection of books and games. Breakfast was great! Truly the best experience as a base to explore Connemara. I have only superlatives to say.

We absolutely loved our stay! The place and the food were truly amazing - 10 out of 10. We’re already planning our next trip to the Leenane Hotel this summer. It’s also convenient to reach from Dublin without a car: take a train to Westport and then the 423 bus (be sure to check the bus schedule in advance; the bus stop is at Mill st). The rooms offer a stunning view of the fjord!

Set in beautiful gardens in the heart of Connemara, the romantic Abbeyglen Castle Hotel has tennis courts, a spa bath and stunning views of Clifden and the Twelve Bens mountains. Location, environment, character, staff, breakfast. All that means one is spoiled. Have to be back to enjoy the prosecco and history tales we missed due to late arrival. But we enjoyed the evening music and atmosphere.

We had the most wonderful stay at the Roundstone House Hotel in Galway! Everything was absolutely lovely from start to finish. The hotel was spotless and beautifully maintained, with a warm and welcoming atmosphere that made us feel right at home. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, very nice and really warm. Also thank you for the birthday surprise—it really made day extra special. The food was also fantastic—delicious, fresh, and beautifully presented. Every meal was a treat, and the cozy setting made dining even more enjoyable. Honestly, everything was perfect. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and will definitely be back. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a charming and relaxing getaway in Roundstone, Co.Galway.

Very friendly staff, the ensuite room was very comfortable and clean, and the surroundings calm. I highly recommend the place for a trip to Connemara.

Este hotel se encuentra en la tranquila y pintoresca isla de Inishbofin y ofrece habitaciones con vistas impresionantes. Loved our stay here. Within walking distance of the ferry and with lovely views of the harbour it is a great value for money place to stay. Rooms were fine and contained all mod-cons. Staff were brilliant. Danielle was a great host behind the bar, very friendly and chatty. The other workers who were off-duty were socializing in the bar and invited us to join them and we had a great night. Lots of belly laughs into the night. They really made our stay so much better and we will definitely be back for a visit.
