In a quiet corner of Clifden, this quiet haven of rich comfort and classic Irish hospitality is just 93 steps from the vibrant buzz of Clifden town centre. Fantastic location 5 minutes from the main bus stop but very quiet. Michael was a great host (got us in touch with a fantastic taxi driver who took us to Omey Island and back for a reasonable price), the sitting room on the ground floor had tea and coffee and great selection of books and games. Breakfast was great! Truly the best experience as a base to explore Connemara. I have only superlatives to say.

On the shores of Killary Harbour lies Ireland's oldest coaching inn. Dating from 1796, you'll find traditional home cooking, antique furniture and the most spectacular views in Ireland. We absolutely loved our stay! The place and the food were truly amazing - 10 out of 10. We’re already planning our next trip to the Leenane Hotel this summer. It’s also convenient to reach from Dublin without a car: take a train to Westport and then the 423 bus (be sure to check the bus schedule in advance; the bus stop is at Mill st). The rooms offer a stunning view of the fjord!

The Waterfront Rest B&B is a beach-front property located on the peaceful Wild Atlantic Way in the heart of Connemara. Rooms overlook the beautiful water and free WiFi is available in public areas. Lovely location and lovely host! Very nice room. Good breakfast included.

Buttermilk Lodge is 5 minutes' walk from Clifden town centre, so you can just park your car and easily walk to town. Really nice accommodation, clean, fresh and varm welcome with refreshments as bread, coffee and milk etc. Really nice equipped for making our own meal morning and evening. Great location with just a 5 min walk to the centre of the city.

Roundstone House Hotel offers accommodation in Roundstone. Guests can enjoy the on-site restaurant. The rooms have a flat-screen TV. Certain units include views of the sea or garden. We had the most wonderful stay at the Roundstone House Hotel in Galway! Everything was absolutely lovely from start to finish. The hotel was spotless and beautifully maintained, with a warm and welcoming atmosphere that made us feel right at home. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, very nice and really warm. Also thank you for the birthday surprise—it really made day extra special. The food was also fantastic—delicious, fresh, and beautifully presented. Every meal was a treat, and the cozy setting made dining even more enjoyable. Honestly, everything was perfect. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and will definitely be back. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a charming and relaxing getaway in Roundstone, Co.Galway.

At the edge of Clifden, All the Twos offers rooms with spacious bathrooms. Guests can enjoy mountain views, free Wi-Fi, and free parking, 15 minutes’ drive from Connemara National Park. Very friendly staff, the ensuite room was very comfortable and clean, and the surroundings calm. I highly recommend the place for a trip to Connemara.

The Alcock and Brown hotel in Clifden is a central and cosy hotel offering a dedicated welcoming service in a relaxed atmosphere. Very relaxing hotel with a very nice bar in. Breakfast buffet is good. The room is confortable and the hotel location in Clifden is outstanding! Raccomanded.

Set on the peaceful and scenic island of Inishbofin, this hotel boasts rooms with stunning views. Guests can enjoy local seafood in the split-level restaurant and traditional Irish music in the bar. Loved our stay here. Within walking distance of the ferry and with lovely views of the harbour it is a great value for money place to stay. Rooms were fine and contained all mod-cons. Staff were brilliant. Danielle was a great host behind the bar, very friendly and chatty. The other workers who were off-duty were socializing in the bar and invited us to join them and we had a great night. Lots of belly laughs into the night. They really made our stay so much better and we will definitely be back for a visit.
