In 1,300 acres of country estate, the luxurious Farnham Estate Spa and Golf Resort has a spa with an outdoor infinity pool, forest walkways and an 18-hole golf course. Cavan Town is 3 km away. Wonderful staff, fab dinner at Maxwell's (salmon en croute was the star!), delicious G&Ts beforehand made from Farnham estate gin, and a very comfortable & quiet room. Wish I'd had time to use the beautiful spa!

Ideally located on the outskirts of Cavan, the Cavan Crystal Hotel is less than 5 minutes' drive from the town centre. Everything from the registration desk to the special request for a cot to the breakfast was really superb! Set in attractive landscaped gardens, Hotel Kilmore is in the heart of Ireland's Lakeland District, offering comfortable rooms, a restaurant and 2 bars. Cavan Town is a short drive away. Very cozy and welcoming atmosphere, to be appreciated in rainy days especially. Food in the pub was good, breakfast offered a buffet along wth a menu to choose from, portions were quite satisfying.
